Dusty Reads #12 & Wishlist Wednesday #10

Hey-ho! How are you guys?
I have been having busy and problematic weeks so I wouldn't be too active for a while and concentrate on my job *sigh*. But well I always miss my other life here xD
Anyway, I'll post a combo blog-hop so I won't mess your reading list =p

DUSTY READS #12
Dusty Reads is a meme hosted by Giselle from Expresso Reads, featuring a book which has been staying at my bookpile for a long time.

If I Stay by Gayle Forman

Summary from Goodreads :
In a single moment, everything changes. Seventeen year- old Mia has no memory of the accident; she can only recall riding along the snow-wet Oregon road with her family. Then, in a blink, she finds herself watching as her own damaged body is taken from the wreck...

A sophisticated, layered, and heartachingly beautiful story about the power of family and friends, the choices we all make -and the ultimate choice Mia commands.

U.S cover :

At first I didn't interest on this book, the summary was a bit vague and sounds cliche. But after a I joined blogging world I saw many people love and recommend this book, so I gave a try and bought the Indonesia version (it has pretty cover though =p). But yeah I dunno why it's still on my shelf, already for couple months. I think I have to read it soon =D

What's your Dusty Reads this week? Tell me and I'll visit yours ^^

WISHLIST WEDNESDAY #10

Photobucket
Wishlist Wednesday is a book blog hop where we will post about one book per week that has been on our wishlist for some time, or just added (it's entirely up to you), that we can't wait to get off the wishlist and onto our wonderful shelves.
This blog meme is hosted by Pen to Paper, if you want to join please visit here to find more about this meme.

First Drop of Crimson by Jeaniene Frost

Summary from Goodreads :
From the "New York Times" bestselling author of the Night Huntress series comes a breathtaking new journey to the dark side of desire.

The night is not safe for mortals. Denise MacGregor knows all too well what lurks in the shadows--her best friend is half-vampire Cat Crawfield--and she has already lost more than the average human could bear. But her family's past is wrapped in secrets and shrouded in darkness--and a demon shapeshifter has marked Denise as prey. Now her survival depends on an immortal who lusts for a taste of her.

He is Spade, a powerful, mysterious vampire who has walked the earth for centuries and is now duty-bound to protect this endangered, alluring human--even if it means destroying his own kind. Denise may arouse his deepest hungers, but Spade knows he must fight his urge to have her as they face the nightmare together . . .

Because once the first crimson drop falls, they will both be lost.

Whooohoo~ I love the cover, it's sooo sexy and bite me Spade! *faints*

I found this before I read At The Grave's End so I confused why there's a sequel about Spade and Denise, since Denise was already married, and finally I knew the reason after I finished that book T^T.
I'm so glad Frost decided to write this, I really want to know more about Denise and of course I need MOAR Spade! =D So happy to know they'll be together at last (I know it's wrong since Randy is such a good guy, but... *sigh*). I read some unsatisfied people who already read this, well I think I would understand since it wasn't wrote from Cat's POV, it would miss it's sarcastics and funny lines. It has more Spade after all xD
